Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link
Some people say that this is the worst Zelda game, and one of the hardest as well. This is probably because of the side-scrolling gameplay and the leveling up RPG style character development. Rather then making it bad though, this made The Adventure of Link a hugely entertaining and unqiue game, and is one of the most unique Zelda games.
