Twilight Princess Specs
Can Twilight Princess really be as good as it looks? Can it succeed Ocarina of Time as the best Zelda game ever? We won't know that for a while, but in the meantime, here's some things I don't want to see in Twilight Princess:
1. Boss Battles - Now obviously there has to be a spectacular final battle at the end. But in many Zelda games you'd trail through the dark, confusing and monster-filled dungeons, emerging after the great challenge of the dungeon to (hopefully) find an even greater challenge in the boss fight. But to your dismay, the boss battle's a piece of cake, and can be dished out in 2 minutes flat. So come up with an ingenious new attack pattern bosses, or don't be in TP.
2. Old Characters Revived - We want new characters - sure, Din, Nayru and Farore and great, but when they appeared in The Minish Cap, it was just stupid, alough Vaati was a welcoming change. So new characters please, except for Link and Zelda of course. And Ganon's fine too.
3. Idiot Enemies - Now the Moblins in The Wind Waker were not the greatest of foes. Fierce enemies with good A.I. is the way too go.
4. Endless Collectables - Collecting all 100 Golden Skulltulas in Ocarina of Time just got tiring. Discovering secrets and stuff is fun, but having finding hundreds of identical collectables to discover them is not.
5. Escorts - Remember having to escort Makar through the Earth Temple? Fun yes, but not as exciting as dungeon-trawling with Link by yourself. It just got annoying sometimes, and spoiled to pace of the game too.
