Races of Hyrule
Deku Scrubs These creatures shoot seeds at you to attack you, however they are easily deflected back at them by using your shield. Some Deku Scrubs are freindly and offer you things to buy, in which case they are referred to as "Business Scrubs". Many Deku scrubs are selfish, and only think what's best for themselves.
Fairies A guardian fairie is assigned to each Kokiri as thier guardian, meanwhile there are also special faeries replenish your health.
Gerudo Theives who are made up of mostly female members. A male-born Gerudo is born every one hundred years, and they lead thier race for thier entire lives, or until a new male Gerudo is born. Gannon was born a male Gerudo.

Hylians The human-like inhabitants of Hyrule. They have pointy ears and they have built villages, towns and other things throughout Hyrule. Some of them are skilled magicians, and good potion makers.
Kokiris Kokiris live in a forest that is guarded by the great Deku Tree. Each one is assigned a guardian fairy at birth. It is said that if a Kokiri leaves the forest they live in, then they will die.
Koroks This race is like a new version of the Kokiris. The great deku tree transformed the Kokiris into a new, leaf-like form ever since Hyrule was flooded (TWW) so they could adopt to a new life style in accordance with the flood. They are lightweight, and can glide swiftly through the egg.
Minish/Picori These are tiny, magical creatures that are known as the Picori by Hylian folk, but they refer to themselves as the Minish. They inhabit two villages; one in a forest and another on a mountain. They also live secretly among the Hylian people; for example, in small holes in people's houses, or on the floorboards on the inside of a house's roof. The Hylian people belive that they are merely a legend, however the Royal family of Hyrule secretly know that the Minish exist. The Minish only show themselves to children, and they are impossible to see by adults.
Ritos Bird-like creatures that inhabit Dragoon Root Island. They are said to be descended from the extinct Zoras. Dragoon Root Island is home to a huge dragon called Valoo, that lives on the Death mountain situated on the island. The Ritos worship Valoo. A child Rito, who wants to grow wings, must face Valoo in order to be able to get them.
Sheikahs They are one the brink of extinction due to the great war - as only one of them, Impa, survived it. Her duty is to protect the royal family and the Triforce. Sheikahs are similar to Hylians in appearance.
Subrosians Strange creatures that inhabit the lava world of Subrosia. They all hide thier true selves by wearing green hoods. Nothing much is known about them, and what thier faces underneath thier hoods look like is unknown.
Tokays Lizard-like creatures who inhabit a small island in Labrynna. They are intelligent creatures that steal all of Link's items when he visits Crecsent Island. Fortunately though, Link eventually recovers back his items.
Zoras Masters of the sea who existed 100 years ago (where OoT was set). They are now apparently extinct, due to thier home being frozen over and liquid water is mandatory for them to survive.
