The ZF Café - All Mass Off-Topic Conversation goes here.
Mike’s Tribute to Shoutbox, Friend of the people:
And so begins a new Era for ZF because for there is still much love for our late friend, Shoutbox. But we must persevere. Not only for ourselves. But for Shoutbox. It is what our friend would have wanted. Now as he lays in the soil of ZF, forever remaining in our hearts, but with this perhaps he can gain some sort of sense of peace with himself to help the passing on.
For the finale for my Tribute to Shoutbox I have only this to say. Goodbye Shoutbox. Forever loved by all you shall remain alive in the hearts of those who knew you best.
God speed old friend.
*********************
Now that that is out of the way, onward to business. I welcome you all to the new heart and core of ZF.
There was much discussion over what we should us to replace the Shoutbox, possiblities being MSN, external Chatrooms, Etc, but what better that the soil that it rests in?
So I give to you my solution.
The ZF Geek Café.
(New names can be decided shortly by democracy, if there is need/want.)
From this point in time we will chat in here. I realize that the post count will go up, but that is easily remedied by Mak setting this on a separate board, disabling the ability to make threads on it (Possible?) and disabling the post count.
ZF Café Ruling:
Edited by Silverline
1. Flaming IS excepted, but keep it to an appropriate manor, and don't flame anyone personally (TL is an exception) or for no reason.
2. No more than 3 posts in a row. Don't confuse everyone by having 100 odd posts in a row, 3 max.
3. Spamming isn't an issue, since the 3 In a row Max rule will stop this.
4. If talking to a specific person be sure to say whom. It will get confusing if everyone is talking about something that nobody else is listening, or supposed to be listening to them.
