Windwaker my mirror shield cant AIM .

Hi im the earth temple of Wind waker , i have the mirror shield .

ive been able to reflect while the shield is on my back .

Now im in a big room where a statue is hiding in the wall ( the room with a few mirror ) . i have to put medli on the step and point her harp to the HARP symbol and put link on the harp symbol and use the shield to reflect to the 4 spot ( 2 at the ground level and 2 in the air ) so i can grab the statue hidden .

but i CANT AIM with my shield . i hold L and after i hold R and Link take his shield ( i see the beam reflecting , but if i move the joystick ... LINK MOVE , he doesnt stand on place only moving his shield . i cant aim my shield in the air to the yellow spot on the wall .

if i press the analog joystick .... link move .. but i dont want him too , i want to only move the shield to reflect the beam .


how do i make link stand on his knee and aim only the beam with his shield ????


i have try everything but cant . hope my wind waker is not bug .


it say hold L and press R and reflect the beam with the shield . thats exactly what im doing , but it doesnt work .

You're not trying hard enough.

Seriously though I don't know and don't have time to find out. I'm sure a Brit will help you though seeing as they should be getting off school/work/etc soon-ish.

If I remember rightly, you don't need to L-target in this case when you're aiming the light. Just hold R and Link should crouch, enabling you to aim the shield when you move the stick.

But, If I remember correctly (it has been a while since I did it.) you have to have your sword out in order to aim shield)

1: Sword out
2: Hold R
3: move control stick to aim.

and that should do it.
