I deleted my last tutorial as it seems no-one wanted to post so I could not post another one. But anyway. I am hoping this will help some of the less able people out there. it is making a basic sig with photoshop. it includes brushes so once again go here to them also I am not too sure how this tut will turn out as I am making it up as I go along.

Step 1) Open a new canvas.
Step 2) Reset your colours to black and white using D. Fill the background with clouds, by going to (Filter>Render>Clouds).
Step 3) Do some brushing. Just 1 layer in white. I am using alias abstractgrunge pack 8.
Step 4) Now it is up to you if do another layer of brushing or just leave it like that but for the sake of this tut i will leave it like that.
Step 5) Find your render. I will be using this render here.

Step 6) Resize your render to fit on your signature.
Step 7) This next part is up to you. Desaturate your render using (Crtl+Shift+U).
Step 8) Now select your lasso tool. Roughly draw around the edge of your render and then right click on your render layer and select feather and set it to 10 px.
Then select layer via cut and it will blend your render.

Step 9) Now on to the colouring. Go to (Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Colour Balance) to open up the colour balance menu and move the little sliding bits to find the colours that
best suite your signature.

Step 10) Now onto the text. select your type tool and just enter your text where ever you please using whatever font you want in WHITE. Now go to your layer pallete and right
click on your new text layer. Select (Blending Options) and add a 1px black stroke around your text and then add a (Drop Shadow)(default setting). You may add a colour overlay
to change the colour if you want.
Step 11) Press (Ctrl+Shift+N) to create a new layer and press (Ctrl+A) and go to (Edit>Stroke) and add a simple 1px black stroke.
Here is my end result.
