Post The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Crystal

I have been working for awhile on a fic based off Twilight Princess. I have put aside a seperate project for this, as I have a very good storyline planned out for this.
I have finished several chapters, but have only rewritten about 3 of them to my computer. Here are those 3 so far.
The fic is not based entirely around Link, Midna, and all those other cannon character. I introduce a few of my own characters as well.
Enjoy.

Chapter 1
Link stood in the Mirror Chamber, next to Zelda. His eyes were wide with surprise, for his sidekick and great friend throughout his adventure had just shattered the only connection between them. He looked down at the dirt below him, trying to find the pieces of shattered glass. He focused as hard as he could, but found nothing. Zelda turned around and began to walk out. As she walked past Link, she put her hand on his shoulder. They looked at each other for a moment, then Zelda nodded. Link nodded back and followed Zelda through the Arbiter's Grounds and out of the desert. The walk was long as silent. When the two reached the cliff where the desert ended, they looked down at the water of Lake Hylia.
"I think I have enough magic left to get us down there." Zelda mentioned. Link nodded to her. Zelda proceeded, taking Link's hand, then raising her other. A bright, white light glowed from Zelda's raised hand and, in a flash, they were at the entrance to Lanayru's Spring. Link looked up for a moment, then began walking up the bridge. Zelda followed him up to Hyrule Field, where Link's horse, Epona, was waiting for him. They mounted up and rode to Hyrule Castle. Again, the trip was silent. When they arrived, Zelda dismounted and said, "Thank you." Link nodded again and rode off back to Ordon.
No sooner than he arrived, the village was cheering for him. He gave a forced smile and waved, walking up to the crowd. The children, Malo, Talo, and Beth, ran up and hugged him tightly.
"Welcome back, Link!" Beth exclaimed, the other children repeating the same. They soon loosened their grips on Link as he chuckled. Then she appeared, the other love of his life. Ilia walked right up to him, smiling brightly. Link blushed lightly and grinned back. She hugged him tightly as the villagers let out an "Aww." in unison. She muttered Link's name in his ear and began to happily cry lightly.
"I'm so glad you're safe." She said. Link continued to smile, wrapping his arms around her. When she let go, the crowd cheered on as Mayor Bo shook Link's hand...

The next day, Link heard a knock on his door in the early morning, waking him up. He quickly put on some pants and answered the door. It was Ilia. Link smiled lazily and tired-eyed.
"Can I come in?" She asked. Link nodded, moving to the side. Ilia walked inside and sat on Link's bed, patting the spot next to her. Link walked over and sat down there. "So, tell me about your adventure." Ilia said, grinning. Link chuckled a bit. "Okay." He replied, smiling. He continued, explaining the tale of how he saved Hyrule. It was a long, but entertaining story. About halfway through, though, and to Link's surpise, he felt Ilia grab his head and kiss him passionately. She kissed him for a good while, and when she broke away from him, he stared wide-eyed.
"I-Ilia..." Link started, but Ilia shushed him and ran her fingers through his hair. "I've been holding that for a long time." Ilia said, "I love you, Link." At the sound of those words, Link stuttered, unable to get the correct words out, but again Ilia shushed him. She smiled brightly and again kissed him. The two wrapped their arms around each other and closed their eyes and now, for once in a long time, they felt happy again...

Chapter 2
Midna floated down from the Twilight Portal created from the Twilight Mirror she just shattered, gently landing on the ground. She began to pace towards her castle, looking around the area, observing what remained of the realm after this ordeal. Twili citizens lied across the ground, hungry and stricken with poverty. They all seemingly glared at Midna.
Zant, you monster... She thought, walking a little faster. It was a short path up to the entrance to her castle, but a good while before she would get to the top, where her throne sat. She knew it'd feel good to regain her position as the Twilight Princess and fix this mess. Like she suspected, the trip getting up the castle was a long one. When she arrived, she found her 7 Counsel Members discussing something. She walked up to them and waved her hand briefly.
"Hello." She greeted. The Counsel Members quickly turned and gasped in surprise. "Princess Midna! You...You're alive!" One member exclaimed. Midna chuckled, "Of course I am! Zant couldn't have killed me if he even tried." She replied. The Counsel Members put their hands together and bowed to Midna in unison. Midna simply bowed back. "I'd like to return to my throne now, if that's okay." She joked. "Well, there is a small problem with that..." One of the members explained, "You're not technically the Twilight Princess anymore. After you were presumed dead, and with Zant defeated, we had no official leader." Midna had a confused look on her face. "Then just give me my position back! I'm not dead as you can clearly see." She exclaimed. "We would have to run a whole new re-election if that were to happen." The member continued. Midna scoffed, slapping herself in the forehead. "Though, I'm sure the citizens of Twilia will put you back on the throne without question." The member continued. "Fine, then set up everything needed for an election." Midna retorted. The Counsel Members again bowed, one of them replying "Yes, Ma'am." Midna walked off to the castle balcony, looking over the land. The Twilight Realm was a mess. Zant had destroyed much of it. Midna rested her elbows on the balcony's gate, covering her face with her hands. She began to move deep into thought and found herself thinking of Link. She shook her head lightly.
"No!" She said out loud, apparently talking to herself, "I can't... I mustn't think about him It was for the best." She took a deep breath, feeling tears slowly run down her cheeks.
"Princess? Are you okay?" Someone said from behind. Midna wiped the tears away and turned around. It was Commander Seraph, an officer of the Twili Military, and a good friend of Midna's. "Yes, I'm fine." Midna replied to the young man. Seraph couldn't have been too much older than 25. "How are you?" She asked. Seraph walked over to Midna, standing next to her. "I'm good. Just keeping control while you're gone." He replied, "What happened?" Midna began to tell the story of how Zant cursed her and how she intended to use the Light-Dwellers. "But things didn't go according to plan." She continued, "Zant injured me severely. I could have died had it not been for Link and Zelda. After Zelda sacrificed herself, I became determined to save both our worlds." She continued, now telling of how they used the Twilight Crystal Zant had left and of Ganondorf, the evil king. "Ganondorf is to blame for all of this." Midna said with a hint of anger. "Interesting." Seraph commented, "So, if all the problems were solved, why did you destroy the mirror?" Midna fell silent, staring at the ground for a moment. "I couldn't allow the Light Realm to take the punishment of our mistakes anymore." Midna explained, "So I destroyed the only link between our worlds." Only known link... Seraph thought, rubbing his chin. "Well, thank you for clearing all of this up for me." He said, starting to walk away, "Have a good sleep, Princess." Midna nodded as Seraph disappeared into the darkness of the unlit hallway.

Seraph made his way down and out of the castle. "There's a library nearby." He said to himself, "Perhaps there's something there that will help me." He made his way south to the closest town. It was midnight in Twilia by the time he arrived. The library was closed, so he checked into the Inn and spent the night there.

Midna took off her cloak and settled into her bed. It was soft and comfy, one of the luxories that she missed while in the Light Realm. She fell asleep in a matter of minutes, thankful that the Counsel Members were nice enough to let her stay in the castle. She rested comfortably in the fine silk of her bed. Again, she began to dream of Link. Her dreams led her back to the Gerudo Desert, when she first realized she was in love with him. She wished she could see him again, to hold him, feel him. No matter how much she tried not to, she missed him.

Chapter 3
Ilia led Link out of his house by the hand. She grinned at him as they both laughed happily. "How about a ride?" Ilia asked, stroking Epona's mane. Link chuckled. "Well, I have to round up the livestock." He said, "I can take you in a few minutes, though." Ilia kept smiling and kissed Link. "Go ahead, do your job." She replied sillily. Link again chuckled, kissing Ilia back. He began to walk through the village as Ilia played with Epona. Like he said, Link finished his job in a matter of minutes. He received his pay and hurried back. To his surprise, Ilia was not there. He continued walking slowly, then suddenly fell to the ground. "Gotcha!" Ilia said playfully, having tackled Link by hiding behind a tree. The two laughed joyfully and kissed each other. "Now, how about that ride?" Link said jokingly. He stood up, Ilia holding onto him around his neck. He lifted Ilia onto Epona, then mounting up himself. He kicked her to make her go and rode out of Ordon. "Have you ever been around the field?" Link asked. Ilia shook her head and Link grinned. He rode Epona out into Hyrule Field. He intened to make one long circle around the entire field.
When he made it to the Northern half, he stopped near the Castle Town. "I'd like to buy you a meal." Link offered. Ilia nodded with a smile. The two dismounted and Link led Epona to the bridge, but she refused to cross. Remembering the same thing from his adventure, he went in for a moment and came out with food and water. Epona began to take from it as Ilia pet her. Link put his arm around Ilia and led her in. They walked to the central area, where most of the restaurants were. "Go ahead, pick one." Link said jokingly, with a smile. "How about that one?" Ilia asked, pointing to a seafood restaurant and grinning. "Anything for you." Link replied, kissing Ilia. He led her inside and they were quickly seated. They soon ordered after that. "How was it in the Twilight Realm?" Ilia asked. At the mention of the word 'Twilight', Midna suddenly flash into Link's mind. He was silent for a moment. "It was beautiful." He finally replied. "I wish I could have seen it." Ilia replied. Link nodded. "I wish I could see he-..." He said, stopping before he could finish, "I wish I could see it again." Ilia smiled. "Well, maybe you'll find another way through some day."
An idea suddenly snapped into Link's mind. He didn't want to leave Ilia there, so he wrote the idea down on a napkin and stuffed it into his pocket. He looked up at Ilia with a bright smile and replied, "Maybe." The food was now ready and the waiter brought it to the couple. The two ate and chat with each other for about an hour, then Link paid the bill and went back outside to meet Epona.
"What?!?" Link exclaimed, finding Epona gone, "Did someone steal her?" He panicked. He paid no attention to Ilia, who picked up a leaf whistle and played Epona's Song. Epona soon came running around from the east entrance to the Castle Town and Ilia pet her, smiling at Link and laughing. Link chuckled in embarrassment and helped Ilia mount up, then mounting up himself. Again, they began to ride across Hyrule Field, briefly stopping at Lake Hylia to give Epona water and admire the natural beauty of the lake.
When they arrived in Ordon, it was around 9, nighttime. Mayor Bo stood at Link's door, waiting for him to return. "What are you doing here, Dad?" Ilia asked as they rode around the corner. Bo turned quickly, startled, and nearly fell off the cliff in front of Link's home. He made his way down the ladder and walked up to Link.
"Link, you have a letter." He said. Link dismounted, then helping Ilia dismount.
"Really? Who's it from?" He asked.
"Princess Zelda."
