The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of ...?
Hello everyone. I am new here so if I am disregarding any rules, let me know!
Anyway, after doing a couple hours of research, I thought I should base my Zelda fan game off of the missing Oracle (The one that was supposed to include Farore).
Before I continue, I must let you know that I am not 100% Zelda savvy. I have just beaten TP (Awesome BTW), but I want to make a fan game off of something I can handle.
I have a Zelda game already under way, but I need a theme. The one I chose for it would not work because I hadn't realized the Seasons puzzles included what I wanted.
I was hoping that you guys could give me ideas to what you think that Nintendo would have made if the Oracles would've remained a Trilogy. If there cannot be one established, then I may make my own Triforce Trilogy.
Here are a couple of my ideas right now:
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Time - Link must slow down time or speed up time to solve puzzles. He must also solve puzzles based on the time of day. (Unfortunately, this sounds like MM and Ages)
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of ... - I can't think of the title, but it would have something to do with combining colored blocks into new colors to solve puzzles, etc.
Can you guys help me out? I'll give you a link to what I have done with my fan game later. I also have a fun Octorok Mayhem Challenge game which I will post soon as well.
I need your support and suggestions. Thank you for reading!

My opinion?
Dont bother. leave it up to Nintendo. Just play Freecell like the rest of us.

Don't bother, eh?
Too late. I guess you should tell TRM to leave that up to Nintendo as well. Just because I can't think up a theme doesn't mean I don't have the game already made. My problem is that the dungeon has been a real problem lately (With room transitions mainly). My engine works perfect for normal rooms, but not large rooms.
Nintendo is never going to make a third oracle (for GB anyway). If you were a true Zelda fan, you would never turn down the idea (Unless the game sample was very poor).
Now, if you could stay on topic, that would help too. The topic is "Ideas for title", not "Should I make this?".
Honestly...

I got a title. This might be kinda of stupid but: The Oracle of Time. Dammit. Sounds like Orcarina of Time.

Ha ha.
If you had read my first post word-for-word, you will notice that I have that title already as an idea. But you are right, it does sound too close to OOT.
I could always go with Oracle of Power, Wisdom, or Courage as Nintendo originally planned...

Heathtech is actually a pretty good game designer. This particular fangame is addictive, well made and pretty much flawless.

Before I comment on anything what so ever, I would ask for some examples of your work.
In case you have the intelligence of TL, which I know you don't simply because you can put more than ten words together in a coherent sentence, I mean a demo, short movie, pictures or at least some of your own custom sprites.
Personally, I don't like the idea of a whole new Zelda fan game, the difference between yours and TRM.

I still reckon dont bother.
But if you must, think of a story, then a title should come out of the story.

You know "Avalanchemike", your words are rude, hurtful, and not exactly true. Maybe if you could read, it might give you a chance at understanding my 'incoherent' sentences.
As for the other things you said, I cannot show you custom sprites because I am definitely no artist. I may be able to provide a demo, but you will have to wait for me to make it presentable (since my credibility matters so much). I also won't present screenshots because anybody can just assemble sprites into a picture.
I was hoping that this game would be a fun little project. I'm not going to quit no matter who tells me to (especially the people on this forum who seem so apathetic and mean).
If you guys can't wait for a sample of the Zelda game, just play my Octorok Challenge Mayhem game. Unless, of course, you are afraid that my games may give Zelda a bad name.
TRM has it easy and hard, in terms of his game. He already has his storyline, concepts, and motive. I do not, which is why posted this topic in the first place. TRM has to figure out how to transpose 3D into 2D using the style of graphics that he chose. He has to draw a bunch of new sprites because there is only some Ocarina of Time sprites in LTTP.
Thank you Silverline, seeing as you are the only one who seems supportive. As for AngelOfDeath, you are right in terms of the title, but I don't have a lot of leads for a story that would match the other Oracles. That's why I was hoping to get a HELPFUL discussion going.
