Something I've noticed...

I did a little research today and found some staggering statistics:

1) 1893/3271 (57.9%) of ZFs members have not posted once, meaining all the have done is registered and left

2) 64/3271 (2%) have posted over 100 post

3) and the other 40% have posted 1-99 posts

I personaly think that this is lame... Mak should delete all the mebers who haven't posted once...

Albel, you and I are part of that special 2%.

Ignore the lousy members who never post - they just make us look better.

That puts it into perspective for us. MORE THAN HALF of ZF's members havent posted AT ALL. I agree that those accounts should be deleted, mostly because it would free up tonnes of space on the server, possibly enough to allow the return of the Shoutbox?

Oh wow, that is a lot of people who joined and never bothered posting! But, what is the point of joining a forum, and then not going on it? xD

Ooooo that is an awesome idea! Hopefully Mak or Dazed will read this, as I am sure they could use some room on their servers! Also, like what HOTS said, if we delete all the members, the shout box might come back! -misses the shout box so much-

Well I guess that's a good idea. I don't know if mak will do it, but I don't disagree with that. You guys want that shoutbox so much.

But about the fact that over 50% of the members in forum didn't post at all, I've said it many times but it's typical. It's like that in every forum. You can complain about it, but there will always be members like that.

Hear, hear!

They may be typical of all forums, but non-poster accounts don't need to be kept. Let's make ZF unique - the only forum without unnecessary accounts. Just delete them if they don't post.

And then we might get the shoutbox back!

The issue with the shoutbox was never to do with server space, it was to do with CPU usage.
Regarding the members, yeah a lot of them haven't posted, but the accounts take up little space so why not keep them? Theres also the slight chance that a 0-poster could come back and take part in the forums, who knows
