Able to close own topics
I have a small suggestion. Perhaps we should be allowed to close our own topics, such as "I'm new here" types of topics. Maybe it's a silly suggestion, but I thought it would be a good idea, only because then you wouldn't have to wait for a mod to close it or run the risk of someone bumping it. If someone could let me know I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,

Or you could ask Mak to put the ability up in the store, so you can buy the rights to close your own topics. To stop n00bs going insane.

Well, you almost have the power to close your own shop. If you can't keep up with it, just post for it to be closed and it will. It isn't really needed as much for any other thread.
And, I agree with Josh. Putting it at an expensive cost would be good, because then you'd have to have a high post count, and, for that to happen, you have to have non spammy posts. It helps slightly, new member threads aren't that important to close, because if it has flaming or spam it can easily be covered by a mod quicker. Another thing, if someone made a thread, and it turned out to be a very popular thread, (let's say it was debating about something), and the person who made the thread got pwned by someone else's opinion, the person who made the thread could be angry or something of that sort for having their opinion put down, and then close the thread.

Thanks for your responses. I think I like Josh's idea as well. I just thought it would be more convienient to be able to close the I'm New Here threads, but I see your point. Thanks for your time !

LOL! Yeah nice people rock, unlike most n00bs which are just like "wtf imma gon kill j00 fo that". XD
And Matt, in retaliation to that we could have it set so that all topics that are closed by mods are moved to an archives (no posting) forum. So if a topic has been closed because the creator got pissed, then it could be re-openned by another user. Solution!
