I never said they are better than Drift's. They are just different. Even though these are good, Drift is still the best.

er,you could try a different style,because these don't seem very good.no offence.
Try using the blur/smudge tool,and get different brushes.

yeah, no one starts off good, I get bad critique all the time at GFX forums, and I listen to it and it helps me improve
