What is SPAM?
SPAM is an unessacery post. Often one or two word replies or spam. Such as if someone posted "I will be leaving the forum for a short period of time" replying something like "Okay" or "GARGH!!!" is classed as spam.

What does going off topic mean?
Going off topic quite simply means changing the subject of a post. If you are discussing a members signature they have created and you start saying "I'm surprised you didn't call them an amateur" the thread easily starts to go off topic and can easily turn into a flaming war. Now onto flaming:

You've mentioned flaming, what's it mean?
Flaming is offending, swearing, verbally abusing or threatening another member. Constantly doing this will result in an admin banning you.
And before you come complaining no a n00b is not a nob but a newbie.

Good work Josh. Our home is getting larger, so we are entitled on creating more rules. or explanations.

I remember first starting out posting in forums. Something like this would have really helped.

yeah, I remember my first forum. I was like "what's flaming, is that some form of cooking?" or "I thought spam was some kind of salty canned meat" (actually, it tastes quite good). They should do this kind of thing on forums as a general rule, because a lot of people who are just coming into the zelda community can get confused easily.

Yeah, I didn't know my first time. But eventually I saw the rules and I had warnings, note this happened in a different forum.
