I don't have it, and I don't know whether I am going to get it or not.

But the commercial... oh my God. It was like one of those things where you're embarrassed, even if you're not the person acting.

I know, what were they THINKING? Cowboy and Mariokart don't mix very well.

In the British ads they dont even show the people playing it with the steering wheel addon, they are controlling with the Wii Remote + Nunchuck.

Mario Kart Wii for me was not great. It is basically a complete remake of every other Mario Kart game, with better graphics and different controls. (like... what 80% of Wii games?)

The controls are tacky and gimmicky. You are going up a ramp and to do 'tricks' you just shake the remote violently and the fatass italian does some super brilliant amazing trick.

I never played online, since I was at a friends house playing it. But its not that special.

If you are looking for a good driving game for the Wii, get Excite Truck. Yea its old, but its much more fun than Mario Kart and requires a lot more skill.

Mario Kart Wii's outstanding feature is the fact that it allows 16 racers simeltaniously. Yea, not that amazing to us Xbox Live users, but its a biiiiiig step for Nintendo.

Also, from what I saw half of the stages are just exact replica's of courses from previous Mario Kart games. Having a few classics in the game is alright, but when the circuit roster is taken up mostly by classic stages then there is a problem.

Not played it, and don't really intend on buying it any time soon. I don't have much time for gaming lately, what with exams coming up and other goins-on, so the next game-related thing I will buy is either SSBB or an XBox 360. So Stef and Oss can kick my ass at Halo 3. Yeah.

The online is far more better than Brawl. No lag what so ever.

I like playing Mario Kart Wii, but I did enjoy the older versions of the battle mode more. It seems kind of random who wins, since there's so many. Especially in the coin thingy.. The thing I liked best about the Mario Kart series was to play with friends at home.. Racing is not so bad, but the battle mode has lost much of its appeal in my eyes.

But it's fun to play It's better for me to use a Gamecube controller, but it is kind of fun to use the wheel.

The only thing I'm missing in the game is a kart. Medium, if I remember correctly.

I'll post my friend code later (and add OLOW)

I think that it is probably the best Mario Kart game...but it really didn't draw me in as much as the other ones. It seemed like the released it because they had, not because it needed to be released. They shouldn't release a Mario Kart just because they need one for every console.
