Games everyone but you seem to like.

Guess I'll start with with one that's surely going to get some shocked reactions.

Xenogears.

Everyone LOVES this game. Worships it. Calls it a game to end all games. And I just don't see it...

To be brief, the plot seemed to just wander around aimlessly and stubbornly refuse to tell me anything about what was going on (and I didn't even make it to the infamous second disk). The battle system was gimmicky and a concept that Legend of Legaia did way better. The mecha battles look cool but at the core were just wattered down versions of regular battles and it's an idea that Skies of Arcadia did way better. I found the characters generally forgettable despite their valiant attempts to be interesting and the enemy encounter rate was the icing on the cake.

I owned this game once upon a time and maybe I missed something but I don't see the attraction. I see the effort but it just doesn't add up for me so I remain one of the few people who didn't like Xenogears.

Anyone else got ones to tell?

World of Warcraft. I see nothing in this game that is worth playing. I heard its an awesome game, you can just play it for hours on end. Yet, I don't want to spend 15 dollars on a month on some game I'm not going to play if I have a life? Also, the graphics look very cartoonish to me. I can go on and on if you'd like. Although, this isn't a "bash whatever game you want" thread, now is it?

Runescape, WoW- Ugh.. 'nuff said.

Pokemon handheld games- I don't know why people still play them. But I just never got into them. When Pokemon was big I just liked the show and the little plushies. Nothing more. xD

NFL, Madden, NHL, WWE. Sports games. - I only actually like a few sports, but other than that sports are boring. Boring to watch and to play. Especially football (our gay football).

Super Mario Galaxy, not that it is a bad game it is just to easy I beat it in the first 2 weeks.

At this point, criticizing a Wii game for being easy is like criticizing a midget for being short.
