Gold Skulltulas

How does one get the Gold Skulltula in the Shadow Temple? It's the one that is next to the boat that takes you to Bongo Bongo. I always hear it, but never see it.

I never found it either. I kept hearing it, but never quite saw where it was. I nearly had 50 skulltuals then, so I didn't bother looking for it.

What do you mean, scarecrow song? Don't you just play any song for the scarecrow? And there are two of them, Pierre and Bonooru, both of whom ask you to play them a song... Which scarecrow are you talking about?

And yes, I could hear that skulltula too... And you need 60 skulltula tokens to complete the skulltula quest thing... I had 59... gutted...

60? I had some friends telling me there were 100 skulltulas in total. 0_o

The scarecrow song is indeed created by you. All you have to do is go meet the scarecrow beside the entrance to the Water Temple as a kid and come back to the same scarecrow as an adult to play it again. It'll make it officialy a "song" You just need to play anything that's easy to remember.

Yes, but which scarecrow, Pierre or Bonooru?

And I'm sure it's 60 skulltula... there are obviously more than that but you don't have to kill more than 60... at least, that's what I thought. I could be wrong...

Whatever the name of those scarecrows are, it's beside the entrance to the water temple. Meet it as a kid first, then as an adult.

There are two scarecrows. One called Pierre, one called Bonooru. They are both in the same place. You play a different song for each of them. Does that make my question any clearer? I just wondered which of the two we are talking about, as whichever of these it is will directly affect the requirement for finding the aforementioned skulltula: namely the song you have to play. Thanks anyway.
