| False Rumours
This page deals with the numerous false rumours, so you can take them into account. If anybody tells you that any of these things are true, then they are lying.
1. You can obtain the Triforce in Ocarina of Time
This is a 100% impossible feat. There is absoultely, positively no way to get the triforce in Ocarina of Time.
2. Twilight Princess will not released for the Revolution
Twilight Princess will be released for the Nintendo Revolution (now named the Nintendo Wii if you haven't kept up with the times). But the silly controller still remains false. Twilight Princess (click here too see the fake controller.
3. Twilight Princess will feature a special version of The Wind Waker
This one is quite funny. For thier April 2005 edition, a Nintendo magazine decided to play a prank by saying that Twilight Princess will come with a special updated version of The Wind Waker - it would be the same game, but with TP-style, enhanced graphics. Some people got hold of the magazine in Feburary though, since that was when the magazine was released, so they didn't think about it being a prank - and pretty soon the whole internet was talking about it. The magazine featured a highly unconvincing screenshot of the new WW, and many belived it true despite the fact that you could plainly see the cut-and-stick fakeness surrounding it. Fortunately, things were put at ease once the rumor was decleared false (you can click here to see the offending screenshot.
4. There will be a Zelda film/There is one in existance
There definately isn't one in existance at all, and the chances of a Zelda film coming out are slimmer then a food-deprived stick insect.
Wii's Final Secret
Not a flase rumour, but this is really notable. A member on the official Nintendo forums posted an article by a magazine called Game Informer. It reveals some stuff about the Wii that has never been heard before:
The Secrets
The Wii will feature a built-in camera. It's got a good resolution, and can be used to add your own face into character models in games. One game has done this before (Tony Hawk's Underground) except this time you don't have to send your picture to the game developers to create your character model. The camera could also include a video recording functionality.
Nintendo is wanting to make the Wii like a hotspot, for other Wii's to connect to. This will allow users to share and exchange files through the Connect24 system. Think of it as a P2P network for the Wii - and it doesn't matter if you have broadband or dial up, since you can use the network on any connection.
A game-making tool will be available to users using the P2P network with Connect24. With it, anyone can make 2D or 3D games, and send it to others via the network. The games will be simple ones though.
