| All about Link
Link is the main character of the Zelda series. He never speaks, great mystery surrounds him, and there are different Links throughout the games (and not just one). Alough the Links in each of the eras of the game's timelines are technically different, they all look simlilar and share similar characteristics.
We given only a small amount of details for the family relations to the Link's. In A link to the Past, Link has an uncle (he is not named in the game), a mother in OoT (but she is never seen, only told of), a grandmother (unnamed) and a sister named Aryl in The Wind Waker, and finally, Link has a grandfather in The Minish Cap. There is also a theory of a romantic relationship between Link and the Princess of Zelda. Link is usually a lone warrior, and alough many characters help and contribute to his quests, they never become a significant part of it.
Link wears a green tunic and a long pointy green hat. The different Links throughout the games have blonde, brown and in one instance (in A Link to the Past), Link appears to have pink hair. In some of the games, such as in the Oracle series, Link has a Triforce symbol on his left hand (he is left handed). He has satchels attached to his back in order to carry his sword and shield, along with other items.
Link is a magnificently skilled fighter. He is strong, swift, accurate and skillful when it comes to adventuring and combat. Many of his strengths (such as lifting boulders/stones, or magic power) can be increased throught the games by the use of certain items. He can also learn new skills such as the ability to dive underwater (or swim, in some games).
As well as his heritage in the Legend of Zelda series, Link has appeared (some times as a playable character) in games such as Soul Calibur 2, and Super Smash Bros.
